Wentworth E is located a one minute walk across the bridge from Eric Milner White Court (more Vanbrugh accommodation) and about a 3 minute walk from the central Vanbrugh College hub (V-Bar, Costcutters, JCR etc); making day to day life fairly easy. The sports centre and other colleges such as Derwent, Langwith and James are all also only around a five minute walk away.The block stands alone on the ‘Biology side’ of the lake, which means a lovely view of the water for some residents, but views of the car park for others…

The Block
The block is comprised of three floors, with two corridors on each floor. There are around 16-18 people per corridor who share two showers and one kitchen- no need to worry about them getting grimy though as they are cleaned regularly by our superb cleaners (a bonus of not being en-suite!) And as the block is the only catered block in Vanbrugh, the kitchens tend to be slightly cleaner than those in other blocks too! The catering includes breakfast (a life safer when sustenance is needed pre 9.15 seminar) and dinner, which are both eaten in Wentworth College canteen, approximately a 30 second walk from the block! Each room is decked out with a bed, desk, bookshelves, wardrobe, large notice board and a sink with mirror.To see the facilities:

Although Wentworth E is one of the lowest rent band accommodation on campus (and renowned for it), It makes very little different once you’re here! The close proximity of the rooms means that it is near to impossible not to socialise and have fun!
